Mahjong Keep ยท last updated October 7, 2026
Mahjong Keep has no accounts and never asks for your name, email, phone number, contacts, or precise location. It is published by Intuitive Workz Inc. It uses two outside services, both from Google: AdMob, for ads between boards and optional reward videos, and (from version 1.1) Firebase, to understand how the game is played and to fix crashes. What that involves is listed below.
- Your progress, coins, settings, and purchase records are stored on your device. We run no servers of our own.
- From version 1.1 the game uses Google Firebase. Firebase Analytics records how the game is played, such as which boards are started and cleared, which help is used, and which offers are shown, along with the device model, OS and app version, an app-specific identifier, and the approximate location implied by your IP address. Firebase Crashlytics sends a report if the game crashes, with the device and app details needed to fix it. Firebase Remote Config lets us adjust prices and rewards without an update. None of this is linked to your identity or used to track you across other companies' apps and websites, and we use it only to improve the game.
- In-app purchases and the Castle Club subscription are processed by Apple through StoreKit, and Apple's privacy policy covers those transactions.
- Ads are shown by Google AdMob: an occasional full-screen ad as you leave a finished board, and reward videos only when you choose to watch one (for example, for an extra hint). The app starts AdMob when it opens and loads ads in advance so they are ready. To show and measure ads and prevent fraud, Google receives information such as your IP address (and the approximate location it implies), device model, OS and app version, an app-specific device identifier, and how you interacted with the ad. The app never asks to track you, so your device's advertising identifier is not shared. Ads are limited to content rated for general audiences. See how Google uses information from apps that use its services.
- If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK, or Switzerland, Google's consent form asks for your choices before any ad is requested. You can change them at any time from the game's Settings, under Ad privacy choices.
- With Remove Ads or the Castle Club there are no ads between boards, and every video reward comes without the video.
- Story narration uses your device's built-in voices and stays on your device.
- If you allow notifications, reminders (a finished castle build, the daily board, the end of a Castle Club free week) are scheduled on your device. No server sends them, and you can turn them off in the game's Settings or in the Settings app.
- Mahjong Keep is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.
